I wrote about the Readability bookmarklet from arc90. It declutters Web pages for easier reading. I recently learned about Instapaper, thanks to one of Ernie Svenson‘s tips at the 2010 ABA Techshow.
Instapaper can help your online research in two ways. It provides two bookmarklets that you can drag and drop to your bookmark toolbar. The first is called Read Later. When you are visiting a page and you want to read it but can’t at the moment, you can click the bookmarklet and it will put it in your Instapaper reading list.
The second is called Instapaper Text and it replicates the Readability feature of decluttering the page. You need to drop a bookmarklet onto your browser toolbar for each of these functions.
iPhone users can use an Instapaper app as part of their Web browsing experience.
Works with all Web browsers. Requires a free account (with or without a password).
